This is
a Midwest Classic!
Beef and noodles fits into this category perfectly…
Most beef works well; leftover is great, steak, chuck roast, or use deli beef. Add mushrooms, if you like, add your favorite noodle, thick or thin, and season to your taste.
No matter where you live and how old-fashioned this dish is…
It’s winter here, it's cold and it's time for a hearty dish.
It’s easy, delicious, simple comfort food at its best!
I’m thinking you’ll
like like this ~
So get your fork ready and make your tummy happy!

DeleteThat looks hearty, delicious and ever so comforting!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Angie! Just what's needed on a cold day.
DeletePam, Ahhh...memories! Beef and noodles were a staple when I was growing up in Michigan. It's comfort cold weather food all the way. Of course we haven't had much cold weather down here this year and the next week to 10 days don't look bad either. We had 2.5 inches of snow in early January and that's been about it. 50s and 60s most days. Very mild winter! Take Care, Big Daddy Dave
ReplyDeleteHi Dave! Glad this brought back good memories for you! Kind of funny, you've had more snow us. We've had 0.4" and it has been very mild weather, which is fine! Take care
DeleteThat sounds so good, Pam. I would enjoy this tonight.

ReplyDeleteHa, Grace! I grew up in the South, meaning very little snow and bitter cold. But was born in the Midwest and live there now. Good and bad both places. 😊

ReplyDeleteThanks, Karen! I really like egg noodles also and sometime want to try making my own instead of buying a package of them.
DeleteHaving seen a comment by you, on another blog, and realizing that you too, voted for our new POTUS, I just had to come over, and tell you, how happy you made me. It is wonderful to find bloggers who are Conservative.
ReplyDeleteNot always necessary, for them to be so, but awfully nice, just the same.
