  3. Happy 4th of July to you and yours Pam! No one belts out a tune like Kate Smith did! Aren't we lucky to have her recordings!

Keep safe, I hope you do not see too much more of Arthur. We're in Maine this week and he's expected to "visit" later this evening - full force. It's been raining off and on for hours since yesterday. We had some black clouds, thunder storms & tornado warnings!

  4. Pam, Happy 4th to you and yours! Last night we were out on a friend's boat on the lake with about 200 other boats watching a private fireworks show that a local and obviously very successful dentist puts on every year. The weather was perfect and so were the fireworks and the folks we were with... Take Care, Big Daddy Dave

Hi!
I am happy to hear what you have to say, and appreciate your taking the time to stop by and leave a comment.
Keep smiling!
Pam

Having passed the grain stalls they came to the fritanguerías – the fried stalls – where sweaty, plump women dropped thick pieces of fish into enormous frying pans. Laid out on the wooden trays that served as counters, the fillets of fried fish immediately cooled to take on an almost mineral appearance while thick slices of fried plantain – patacones – were heaped around them.
